Endolift

WHAT IS ENDO LIFT?

Endolift is a minimally invasive laser treatment used for skin tightening, facial contouring and reducing small areas of stubborn fat. It uses a very thin optical fibre inserted beneath the skin to deliver laser energy to targeted areas. It is commonly used on the lower face, jawline, double chin and certain areas of the body. The aim is to improve skin firmness and definition

HOW DOES ENDOLIFT WORK?

Endolift uses an extremely fine optical fibre, similar to a thin needle, with laser energy emitted from its tip. Dr Rashmi Shetty guides the fibre beneath the skin through the tissue and delivers the laser precisely where it is needed. The effect depends on how the fibre is moved, how long it is held in a particular area and the laser settings. This allows Dr. Rashmi Shetty to target small pockets of fat, tighten and lift the skin, and improve facial contour and definition. All patients appreciate the improvement in the skin texture and pigmentation.

Downtime & Side Effects

The procedure itself requires zero downtime. However, you may experience minor temporary side effects:

  •  Mild Swelling or Puffiness: This can last for a day or two. It occurs because the numbing liquid is infiltrated underneath the facial skin to ensure a completely comfortable experience. The mild swelling resolves as the fluid naturally disperses.
  • Mild Bruising: Very rarely, minor bruising may occur, which typically fades within 3 to 7 days.
  • Altered Sensation: In very rare instances, a slight change in skin sensation may persist for up to a week in specific pockets as the anesthesia completely wears off.

HOW QUICKLY CAN I SEE THE RESULTS?

Some improvement may be visible immediately Results generally develop over the following weeks and months as collagen remodelling progresses. Patient usually comes back absolutely delighted within about a 6-month timeframe

HOW OFTEN DOES ONE NEED TO DO THIS?

Usually, one session is enough. Very rarely, Dr. Rashmi Shetty may recommend a second session about a year later. For maintenance, a repeat session may be considered once every two to three years, depending on the patient’s needs.

IS ENDOLIFT PAINFUL?

Once the area has been anaesthetised, the procedure is generally pain-free. The anaesthetic is administered using a blunt cannula, so patients may feel only a brief, mild burning sensation when the drug is injected.
