Before And After – Face

Your nose is one of the most important features of your face. Subtle changes and enhancing will make a huge impact on the over all appearance. Like with lips, brows and eyes – the nose can be enhanced non surgically with injectables and can be a quick office procedure with no down time.

Please make sure you reach out to a highly skilled and experienced dermatologist or plastic surgeon when you opt for a non surgical nose job.

You’d be surprised how tiny details make a huge difference when it comes to the aesthetics of our faces.
Hooded eyebrows or eyebrows that fall over the eye are one such detail.
Such eyebrows yes, are not just aesthetically unattractive but also make your expressions difficult to read – giving you a tired or sad look, adding onto the years on your face.
It also makes it difficult to play with colours while you apply makeup….making even larger eyes look small and closed.
As you grow older, hooded eyebrows can become a hindrance to your vision and add a heavy feeling.
The best non surgical way to lift your eyebrows is to combine treatments through:
🌸 Botox where we can do a beautiful lateral lift of the brow
🌸 Fillers to support the brow
🌸 Threads to lift the brow
For this patient, who was adamantly against getting Botox, we chose to do an instant lift with threads.

Skin pigmentation usually is referred to when the skin becomes darker – all over, in patches or in spots. This usually is in reaction to either internal or external stimulus.
🌸 Internal stimulus can be due to immune alteration, imbalance of hormones, inflammatory food substances or metabolic syndromes.
🌸 External stimulus can be anything from something as simple as rubbing your skin, friction, heat, cosmetics or metals from jewelry , reaction to breach in the skin from wounds or acne.
All of the above can cause pigmentation, making it quite a challenge to treat, especially for Indian skin.
Worried? Don’t be! With modern medical equipment and advanced procedures such as peels, energy based devices and home remedies, treating skin pigmentation has become achievable.
The most important factor however, is diagnosis along with everything else to achieve great results.
Here’s a patient who had complicated skin pigmentation due to multiple reasons. I really appreciate the results that have come across in such a case, giving hope for any kind of pigmentation to be treated!

Warning:
⭕ As a doctor, I would warn you against picking up over-the-counter creams as most of them (or even creams with no label) will have substances which can lead to more harm to your skin, especially in the long term. Do NOT touch steroids in the name of lightening the skin or for pigmentation.
⭕ During home care, be extremely careful because things like applying lemon or anything that can irritate the skin can further darken your pigmentation.

Acne as I always say, is one of the most complex conditions to treat.
It is also the most traumatizing condition for people who suffer from it – a journey where you do not know what to expect.
Here are a few points that I would like to highlight:
1. Acne is treatable . However scars are not erasable 💯 % while we do get great results , it entitles many treatments over a long period of time.
So, it’s best you meet your dermatologist the minute you see acne.
2. Do not use over the counter medicines, they may cause more harm than help.
3. The cause for your acne can be more deeper than your skin itself. Hence, it is very important for you to work with your doctor to identify the cause, and treat your acne accordingly.
4. Acne and scars both can be treated simultaneously .. textural change or change in the pigment that is the colour of the skin itself . However, not all scars are erasable .
Here’s, one such patient ….

Pigmentation could be of various types. It can simply be because you have used the wrong product as it can lead to skin colour changes.
These changes can also be related to immunity, hormonal imbalances, nutritional imbalance or because of harsh exfoliants and rubbing of skin.
Any of the above can cause Skin Pigmentation and depending on the cause, we end up using various treatments ranging from home care remedies to certain supplements, correction of underlying cause, peels and lasers. Here’s one such before and after case.

Here are two different patients who are suffering from adult acne with PCOS and premenstrual flare. Eventually when we start treating them, we see that in the following months the flare is much lesser.
Both of them are at different stages of Treatments so in Image 1 you can see a lot more red scars as it is pretty recent.
In Image 2, you can see the scars fading off as there are certain treatments that have been done and the treatment for scars is in progress.
