How to Get Glowing Skin Without Makeup
Who does not want luminous, dewy skin?
But ideally, we want our skin to look like that 24/7 , not just the days we wear makeup. We want our natural look to be dewy and radiant.
So what’s the best way to achieve a natural, healthy glow without the help of sparkles or pore-clogging ingredients?
Along with your diet, physical exercise, and mental well-being, your daily skincare routine and the nourishment from within makes a significant difference. Dr Rashmi Shetty, a specialist dermatologist, tells us everything that you need to do to get glowing skin that looks fresh and healthy – with or without makeup.
Moisturize
For that dewy skin that we all desire, Dr Shetty always says, “Moisturizers are the superstars. They hydrate your skin and act as a barrier to external aggressors.”
According to The American Association of Dermatology, applying moisturizer immediately after cleansing helps retain the moisture in the skin. People with oily skin may need an oil-free moisturizer, while those with dry skin may prefer something heavier that contains oils.
Layering while you moisturize may be ideal only for dry skin and when the ambient air is dry as well. But if you live in a humid place and you have an oily skin, then layering may not be a great idea. You need to then choose that one good moisturizer that will replenish the water and oil requirement of your skin.
Protect your skin
Shield your skin from the harmful UV rays that lead to skin dullness by using a good sunscreen. Also, you need to protect your skin from dust, pollutants, and extra harmful chemicals and unnecessary skin care with too many actives which are not prescribed by your doctor. The inappropriate actives can rob your skin of its glow and spoil the texture of the skin. Likewise the sun robs the skin of moisture not just tans the skin. The pollutants can give the skin a greyish hue and spoils the texture of the skin.
Ra Defence, Ra Bright and Ra Vitamin C can protect your skin from within.
Hydrate
Drink enough water to keep your skin hydrated. It needs enough water to give it strength and elasticity. But remember that overdoing it might drain off the essential nutrients from the body which is required to hold the water and make your skin look hydrated. Do not forget that it is important to have essential fatty acids in your diet for the dewy skin.
Ra hydrate and Ra primrose+ are two wonderful supplements to hydrate your skin from within.
Move your body
The quickest way to get a glow? Exercise!
Working out does more than keep your body fit. Exercise increases blood flow and helps nourish skin cells.
Do not say that you are too busy and that you cannot afford to exercise. If you are truly busy, you cannot afford not to exercise.
Go on a rainbow diet
You are what you eat. It is crucial to consume a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and healthy fats that helps ensure your body gets the vitamins and minerals it needs to function optimally and glow from the inside out. But it is important to avoid food high in salt, saturated fat, and sugar.

Even if you have the best skincare routine, your skin may not look healthy if you are not cautious of what from the inside.
Get quality sleep
When you sleep, the body heals from all damage. When you sleep, your skin’s blood flow enhances, and the skin can rebuild its collagen and repair damage from UV exposure, reducing wrinkles and age spots.
A 2021 study found that a lack of sleep was associated with skin ageing, reduced barrier function, and dissatisfaction with the skin’s appearance among women.
If you have disturbed sleep, our new launch Ra Restwell supplement will help you. It gives 6-8 hours of good sleep that is essential for your skin and for you to completely rejuvenate.

Other minimally invasive techniques to increase the hydration of your skin

Hydrating Mesotherapy: We use a careful and systematic approach to ensure that the ingredients are administered precisely and efficiently; ensuring that the skin gets the hydration thoroughly and evenly.
What can be done towards achieving the above 6 goals of treatment?
Dr Rashmi Shetty says, “ Yes, Botox works brilliantly for acne. Especially acne along the jawline.”
Dr Rashmi Shetty is one of the chosen doctors in the acne experts panel of India ( part of an International Board ) that is responsible for coming up for protocols for acne treatment. The panel then designs the consensus protocols for acne diagnosis and treatment.
